What do you want to be turned into/imagined as an anime? (not manga)

We've all thought of it, right? Thinking for a minute "That would be cool as an anime..." So what non-manga entertainment (TV shows, Books, movies, etc.) do you want/imagined as an anime?

For me? I always imagined Anne Rice's vampire books in anime form. I mean come on! The way she describes some of the characters just scream anime. Like Armand: Huge brown eyes, young girlish face...in fact often mistaken for a girl, slim figure, beautiful auburn hair...Reminds you of those yaoi fellows doesn't it? :hehee:

I've been thinking that Miyazaki should do a version of C.S. Lewis's The Magician's Nephew since I was, like, nine.
I still haven't read the rest of those books

Anyone ever read any of the Wheel of Time or Dragon Lance novels? I read all of them as I was growing up and found them to have outstanding stories. I feel that manga/anime has yet to explore and establish a universe of mystical lands, armor, dragons, magic, and the like. There are some but the list is weak and the series are short-lived and lack complexity. I find the genre to be very interesting and believe it would translate well into a set of anime movies or OVA's.
