:D For me I would have to say that Moon Child is one of my faves not because it is produced and starring Gackt also starring Hyde from L'ARc~en~Ciel. Hyde's movie Kagen no tsuki or Last quarter, I didn't really like for hyde was barely in it. XD I also enjoyed Death Note's movies still have to get "L Change The World". Battle Royal was awsome too

Death Note counts? Nice. Death Note it is, then. :D
Didn't matter that it was based on the manga, I just found it's direction and own original material for the movie was all well executed. Loved the Light's portrayal and L's quirkiness.

I haven't seen many Japanese movies, but for some odd (very, very odd) reason, I really liked Zebraman. It just sort of mixed cheesy B-movies with how they're viewed in real life.
It's also probably the strangest movie I have ever seen.

The Death Note movies were really good, but Battle Royale is my favourite on that list.
But this poll is lacking in the Toho Monsters department, cause even on top of all that Godzilla is one of my favourite movies of any nation, it even went up on the list with the original Japanese version of the film!

I haven't watched Death Note. There was one I remember. The title was Versus. It was cool and scary at the same time.
