i really love the ocean dub because we had it here in the uk and brian drummond as vegeta well he is just so awesome but i do like chris sabat aswell but brian drummond is way awesome:D

Funimation for me. America started out with the Ocean Group at first, but then switched to Funi and im SO GLAD it did. i LOVE Funimations voice acting, voice choices, and of course the epic rock music. XD I've even compared voices, some are as good as eachother, but Funimation ones are way better than Ocean Group in my opinion. but yeah, Funi all the way for me.

Blue Ocean never sounded right to me. Even as a kid I first saw the Ocean dub and thought it was kind of... not right. Of course I loved the show but when they showed the Funimation dub on Cartoon Network I really started getting into it. So I choose the Funimation dub. I'll admit, I like Goku's voice from the Ocean dub slightly better. Slightly.

Definitely Funi. I remember watching Ocean Dub when it first aired here in the states and thought alot of the dialogue was just stupid. Plus the Vegeta voice actor made him sound too much like a snake and now when I look back on it I laugh and tell people, "Hey did you know Vegeta used to be Voldemort?"

Anyway, Funi in general had better sounding voice actors and had their own share of bad dialogue though enough to be ignored.

I'd rather Funimation. Nothing personal, really-in fact, I only knew Funi when I played Budokai 2 ^^; But in my opinion, I think Funi is better- it's because the voices suit the main characters best.

Ocean dub was terrible. How did they manage to fudge up Bardock's past by making him a scientist? Plus the voices are awkward with their Vegeta sounding like a anime Voldemort reject.

Funimation is the best english dub by far. Vegeta and Piccolo sound badass and Goku rtained some of his youthful stupidity in his voice.

Ocean Dub was just horrible. The only thing good about it was Vegeta saying over 9000, and that they did great for Early vegeta.

Personally, I like Funi better, except for the classic "IT'S OVER 9000" line. Brian Drummond sounded more enthusiastic than Christopher Sabat.

Yeah Ocean definitely nailed that line. And you have to give the Jap voiceover alot of credit for using the same voice actor for Goku through the whole thing

Funimation is in a league of there own. You can't compare Japenese dub to an American dub. Funi is so much better. But your all right though. The 9000 was bomb, and I watched Ocean first.

The English versions are good because they not only translate the original dialogue, they also took the effort and creativity to interpret in their own words without losing the meaning in the original.

In my opinion, Funi dub is best. Sure Funi mess up some things in the series, but not as worst then Ocean dub has lol.

But I agreed, Brian Drummond did an excellent Early Vegeta FTW!

Vegeta's Death scene music sounded much better on FUNI...

All I can say against both is that Frieza sounded like a tranny pedophile in both dubs. They should have tried to find an english equivalent for the english dub

Although i Really like Ocean's Voicing Of Vegeta, I Admire Funi As They Actually Match Up With the Characters, I Started off Watching Dbz in Ocean Watched The series Twice On Tv In It, But After i Watched The Funi Dub i Was Mesmorised The Way you Can Actually Feel The Characters emotions :D, Its Just Epic :D

But For Me Has To be Funi! :D
