Who likes to sometimes be a chief cook at home?

I usually cook when my mom is not home. I find it interesting and fun the art of cooking, I prefer to eat more, of course, but there are times that I have to turn around. [image: http://animeforum.org.uk/images/smilies/wink.gif] I do the basic, the basics such as coffe, tea, juice, rice, beans, fried or roasted meat (chicken and fish) and salad to accompany. I like to try the combination of flavors, whenever I get a chance do a mixture of spices to experience something new. ( My brother hates when I do, but ends up eating the food and asks for more ! ! ! ! [image: http://animeforum.org.uk/images/smilies/biggrin.gif]) And very rarely I do sweets, and my favorites are ones that always make chocolate cake and gelatin. I play chef every day in my dorm room. >_> More out of necessity than fun though. I've worked in a few professional kitchens helping with the cooking though, to be a great chef you have to willing to experiment and I see you're already well on your way.

I like to be chef when I think I know best how to cook something. Then basically I show off and make something fabulous. I seem to have a gift for this. Especially stir fries. However I cant cook sea food as I dont know how and would need to read a recipe book or watch a cookery programme.

I've been cooking for so long that it's just second nature to me. And I can cook about anything too. On rare occasion, I might have to use a recipe. But everyone loves my cooking. So I guess I'm a good cook.

I love to cook pasta's and Japanese curry. But sometimes I'll try something new and see how well I made it.

These days I end up being the cook anyway. [image: http://animeforum.org.uk/images/smilies/sign0108.gif] But at home, I do cook. On rare occasions. Usually I don't help out, or I do help out sometimes. Mostly I handle all the kitchen work when it comes to egg-and-sardine sandwiches.
