Who would win if Frieza fought Wolverine.
I'll try to set up the scenario for ya, Frieza some how exists in a Marvel like universe, without the other DBZ characters, save his army. He assaults Earth, and the X-Men intervene, with Wolverine fighting him. Frieza is also in his fourth form, only because of the picture I'm about to add
In other parts, I found a picture on Deviant Art by DeadlyChesnut (awesome artist, along with a awesome comic so far she's creating) of Frieza fused with Wolverine. She says she drew it because she saw the X-Men Origins movie, and watched it in German. She discovered a while back that the same German voice actor does the voice for Hugh Jackman, as well as Frieza.

Sure, Frieza's powerful, but Wolverine has his healing factor, unbreakable adamantium skeleton, and feral rage. Plus, Wolverine is probably as old as Frieza, with probably more experience because Frieza hardly ever fights, usually has his men do the fighting for him if they aren't too big of trouble.
But, it is understandable that all Frieza has to do is blow up a planet, and Wolverine is out like a bad habit. But Frieza would most likely underestimate Wolverine, and wouldn't even try very hard at all to fight him, might not realize that Wolverine is a threat until it's too late.
Frieza Busted the Planet and wins. Even if Wolverine survived that, he can't moved anywhere. So Frieza wins by BRF

Yes, that's a very good factor. I think even though the odds are in Freiza's favour, there's a chance (actually it'll be so obvious) that he would underestimate Wolverine, seeing him as a weak Earthling instead of a powerful mutant. And as you've stated, Wolverine has got regenerative abilities and skeletal structure made completely out of adamantium. If Wolverine can play at that advantage, he would be able to deal significant damage to Frieza.
Unfortunately, though, I don't think Wolverine is capable of flight. And as others stated, Frieza could just destroy the planet the moment he finds that Wolverine is powerful enough to defeat him. The key in here is playing in favour of one's situation.

No way...Nothing against wolverine he is my favourite Marvel superhero but there is no way he can win an outright battle against Frieza.

Wow, I forgot I even started this thing back in November. Okay, so most everyone is on the consensus that Frieza just blows up the planet, or flies into the air. Well, say he flies into the air, to get away from Wolverine. Get a super strong X-Man, like Colossus or Rogue, and you've got a fastball special going towards Frieza.
But, why would Frieza resort to blowing up a planet against a bunch of measly mutants? It's not like they're anywhere near as strong as a Super Saiyan, let alone any Saiyan. And if Frieza wanted Earth badly enough, he'd probably tough it out, and try to use blowing up the planet as a last resort.
So, round 1, using a planet buster to blow up Earth, Frieza wins. But what if Frieza didn't try to blow up the planet? I think Wolverine has much more of a chance, but I'll let you guys discuss some more.

There One Problem. Frieza's Durability. Frieza tank a Planet Blowing up with no ki. So Unlike Wolverine's Puching Power is Planet Busting or more, Frieza would just grab him and blast him to space.
And Then you take Speed into Factor. Frieza is Massivly Hypersonic. So unless Wolverine can performed that kind of speed, Fireza win this Match regardless.
